Wallace joins from Wedlake Bell, where she was responsible for managing 100+ annual events from conception to completion. As sales and events executive Wallace will use her six years of experience to further promote the venue’s corporate offering.
Commenting on her new role, Wallace said, “I look forward to working with Wellcome and transferring my skills to produce memorable events, as well as using my knowledge of the industry to generate new business and increase its industry profile.”
Daniel Caleb, event spaces manager at Wellcome added: “We are delighted to have Gemma join the team, who comes with a wealth of event management experience from both venues and corporate organisations. Having previously managed all event requirements for teams, she has a good understanding of clients’ needs.”
The latest appointment comes after the event spaces reopened in March and reported a 92% client retention rate following its £17.5 million refurbishment.
