Wildgoose Events welcomes Lee-Anne Macdonnell as new Marketing Head

Lee-Anne Macdonnell has joined multi award winning Wildgoose Events as its new Digital Marketing Manager, with the brief to use her specialist skills to fully exploit the opportunities for the company across all digital platforms.
Lee-Anne joins the company after nine years at The Grove, a leading five star Hertfordshire hotel, where she was Marketing Communications Analyst.

She says “My role evolved massively over the course of my time at The Grove. I was involved in the development and re-design of the website and responsible for online content, performance, email marketing, social media and marketing data.  The role was incredibly diverse, largely due to the fact that The Grove is made up of a number of business areas including three unique restaurants, championship golf course, award-winning spa, meetings and events space along with 217 bedrooms for corporate and leisure stays.’

“I am looking forward to the new challenge here at Wildgoose and intend to fully explore and exploit the numerous online tools and opportunities to help the business continue to grow and develop with a focus on tracking and measuring ROI. Also, by harnessing the creativity and knowledge of an incredibly talented team I aim to strengthen the brand, increase exposure and ultimately raise the Wildgoose profile."

Wildgoose MD Jonny Edser says: “We’re a very forward looking company and we are developing the business in lots of different ways which needs the support of an experienced Digital Marketeer. Lee-Anne brings to us a wealth of experience in digital marketing and working with big corporates. We continue to invest in developing Wildgoose and Lee Anne’s expertise will help us in that process.”

Lee Anne qualified at the Chartered Institute of Marketing and worked as the Marketing Officer at Amersham and Wycombe College prior to taking on her role at The Grove.
