The Langham, Hong Kong appoints Michael J Donlevy as Culinary Director and Ng Tzer Tzun in his right-hand position as Executive Sous Chef. Together, they will lead the hotel’s culinary brigade in overseeing dining operations at the 498-room luxury hotel with six restaurants and bars, private dining for guests in residence, The Langham Club Lounge, as well as catering for various creative events.

Labtech today announces the appointment of Rosalind Chan as Marketing Director for its flexible workspace brand, LABS and serviced apartment arm, STAY.
Rosalind joins the company following two years at The Office Group (TOG), where she was responsible for the development and execution of brand and product marketing strategy. The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company as it pushes ahead with a pipeline of new openings across Central London and Tel Aviv, Israel.

Changes to board and constitution for CINZ following AGM

Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) held its Annual General Meeting yesterday, the first time it has been held online.  
CINZ Chair Tony Gardner says members took the opportunity to change the constitution and structure of the Board to reflect the future needs of the industry.
”These changes reflect CINZ’s need to meet future issues at a governance level in an agile way, while still ensuring that our members maintain the power base,” he says.

The Ruby Group of ‘Lean Luxury’ hotels and workspaces is strengthening its Development Team as Isabell Fuß is promoted to Group Vice President of Development with effect from 1st November.  
Fuß has been with the Group as a member of the management team since it was founded in 2013. At the same time, Julian Mörs, who has been on Ruby Group’s Development Team since 2016, takes up the role of Group Director Development. The Ruby Development Team now has eight members, each responsible for target markets in Europe and North America.

The Cottage in the Wood appoints new operations manager, Xenie Hornackova

Xenie Hornackova
The Cottage in the Wood, Malvern has appointed Xenie Hornackova as its new operations manager.
Xenie started her new role overseeing the hotel operations in November, having formerly worked as the boutique hotel’s food and beverage manager, and will be responsible for championing the brand vision, and delivering it throughout the hotel.

Louvre Hotels Group adds to senior management team

Louvre Hotels Group, which operates the Campanile and Première Classe hotels in the UK, has made two senior management appointments as it looks to consolidate its  ambitious growth plans.
  
Lee Morgan joins the organisation as Sales Director, while Paul Netherwood has been appointed Revenue Manager at the group, which is a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings Co. Ltd., the second biggest hospitality group in the world.

Polish Tourism Organisation officially appoints new President

The Polish Tourism Organisation has appointed Rafał Szlachta, an economic tourism expert, entrepreneur, and political diplomat as their new President
The appointment will see the Polish Tourism Organisation move in a new direction, led by the Polish diplomat, businessman and an international ambassador for tourism and sports.
