Church House welcomes new Event Coordinator

Church House Westminster has welcomed a new member to its events team.
Sharnez Ritchie has joined the central London venue as an Event Coordinator, having previously worked for another venue in the capital. In her role, she will work across the event planning portfolio from taking enquiries to assisting with the running of client events.

New General Manager for Hilton London Metropole

Remco Norden leads the team at UK’s Largest Conference Hotel 
Hilton London Metropole has announced the appointment of Remco Norden as General Manager from July 1.
A Dutch national who speaks five languages, Norden has 23 years of experience with Hilton in a variety of commercial and operational roles in the U.K. and overseas, most recently at the 821-room Hilton London Gatwick Airport Hotel, where he had been General Manager since 2016.

Deirdre Wells OBE appointed chair of the Tourism Alliance

Today, the Tourism Alliance, the tourism industry’s umbrella body that represents 53 organisations, elected Deirdre Wells as its new chair.  
In taking on the one-year tenure, Wells brings with her over two decades of experience in the cultural, events and tourism sectors. Wells is currently the chief executive officer of UKinbound and prior to this appointment she was the Government’s head of tourism.

Center Parcs appoints new Corporate Events Commercial Manager

Center Parcs has strengthened its corporate events team with the appointment of Liz Pilling as Corporate Events Commercial Manager.  
Liz will be heading up the Corporate Events Sales Team, which comprises of a Head Office based team of Account Executives, Marketing and a team of Business Development Managers.

WRG hires Creative Director to bolster creative offering

Paul Martin
Leading live and experiential agency WRG has appointed Paul Martin as Creative Director.
Martin, who joins from events agency Innovision, will be based in WRG’s London office and lead the creative team, responsible for overseeing all creative output.
