Bringing laid-back luxury and a barefooted beach vibe to the glamorous St. Barths hotel scene, Le Sereno re-opened in December 2018 following an extensive rebuild of the entire boutique property, including a completely redesigned restaurant with new bar and lounge areas, in addition to the waterfront extension area overlooking the protected marine reserve.
With the water practically at your feet, Restaurant Le Sereno is the perfect setting to sip on a craft cocktail or a freshly squeezed detox elixir from the new wellness juice station. Le Sereno’s much- loved oak roof was rebuilt, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings.
At the helm of Restaurant Le Sereno is celebrated Executive Chef Alex Simone. With more than 20 years of industry experience, including time at both Il Baretto and Zafferano in London, Simone has unveiled a new menu at Restaurant Le Sereno. Inspired by Simone’s background in Italian cuisine whilst equally giving a nod to the locally sourced French produce, an infusion of Mediterranean blends creates a perfectly harmonised menu.
Made with only the freshest ingredients, complimenting the dramatic natural surroundings, guests can expect vibrant flavours and exquisite dishes including the Red Sicilian Prawn Carpaccio, lemon emulsion and compressed cucumber and Chef Simone’s famous Lobster Linguine from Il Baretto, made with fresh local spiny lobster that arrives daily to Le Sereno’s private beach.
