Stay in Surrey this Spring at The White Horse from £50

The White Horse
Spring has sprung and The White Horse, part of the Bespoke Hotels collection, is celebrating its official relaunch with a special ‘Stay in Surrey’ offer.
The historic coaching inn has been restored to its former Victorian glory after a £4million investment by Bespoke Hotels.

One of England’s most storied coaching inns, the hotel once played host to Charles Dickens who took up residence at the hotel while writing the Pickwick Papers in the mid-19th century. New furnishings throughout pay tribute to the building’s unique role in Dorking and Surrey’s history.

Easily accessible from London, The White Horse is Dorking’s first destination hotel. Visitors can make their way south this spring for a weekend getaway amidst the spectacular Surrey Hills, surrounded by England’s finest vineyards. Situated at the head of Dorking’s famed High Street, the hotel is home to 56 bedrooms, charming public spaces, as well as a new ‘drink, dine and deli’ concept, The Dozen. Upon arrival guests can enjoy a Sunday lunch at The Dozen and explore the market town, taking in the streets lined with local boutiques and antique stores.

For those feeling more adventurous, a walk or cycle up Box Hill provides spectacular views of Surrey. For a light lunch and refreshments, the new Dozen Deli set to launch in March is stocked with delicious Dorking and Surrey produce from local chutney, regionally-roasted coffee beans to freshly-baked sourdough bread. As the sun sets, guests can saddle up in the unique bar stools and indulge in a growing range of Charles Dickens-themed cocktails or return to the hotel for a light supper in the lounge.

*In March guests can stay in Surrey at The White Horse on a Friday evening from only £50 when booking a cosy room and spending £50 in the restaurant.

**For a Sunday stay in Surrey, rooms are priced from £72.50 per person. Package is based on two people staying in a spacious double room with free parking, Sunday lunch, light supper and breakfast the following morning. Drinks excluded.
