Novotel to allow guests checking out on the 25th March to check out of their rooms an hour later to make up for their lost sleep time
Novotel will extend checkout by one hour on March 25th in selected hotels* to make up for the clocks going forward.
British Summer Time officially starts on Sunday 25th March. While it’s something that we all look forward to, it does mean a sacrifice of one precious hour of sleep.

But this year, guests at participating Novotels won’t have to worry, as the hotels are giving guests back the hour they have lost.

At more than 30 Novotels, guests will be able to check out at 1pm, rather than before the typical midday deadline.

James Wheatcroft, Vice President of Marketing at AccorHotels said: “Everyone looks forward to the start of summer, but it does mean that we lose an hour of sleep when the clocks go forward.

“We want to make sure our guests have the most enjoyable stay possible, so we’ve decided to extend our check out to 1pm. With the extra hour of late checkout, on March 25th our guests will be able to have a more relaxed and comfortable start to their day, whether that means indulging in a long breakfast with multiple trips to the buffet table, unwinding in our fitness and pool facilities, or simply spending an extra sleepy hour in our special Live N Dream beds.”

This exclusive offer is available on Sunday 25th March, but only to guests who are checking out on that day.
