Cyrus Todiwala to host exclusive dinner and masterclass at Fairmont St Andrews next month

Five-star hotel set to welcome internationally-renowned chef in March for a celebration of Scottish produce, Asian flavours and incredible French wines
Fairmont St Andrews welcome Cyrus Todiwala OBE with an exclusive event this March, sharing his wealth of skills and knowledge in Asian cuisine with guests at the hotel, at an extraordinary dinner and culinary masterclass.  
As part of Fairmont St Andrews’ commitment to sustainability, Cyrus will create an exclusive menu for guests using the finest local produce sourced in Scotland. The menu will feature seafood from St Andrews Bay and East Neuk of Fife fishing villages, and seasonal produce from Fife and Tayside.


This exclusive evening on 24th March will showcase an unforgettable menu created by Cyrus, hosted and served in the Squire Restaurant show kitchen. Guests are set to experience a unique tasting experience of Asian cuisine paired with selected wines from France.  Sophie Lurton-Cogombles, owner of Chateau Bouscaut of the renowned Lurton family of Bordeaux has chosen a selection of Grand Vins de Bordeaux to complement the six-course menu. Cyrus will create the dishes in front of the guests offering a unique and interactive evening and, the following day will host a MasterClass taking guests on a journey of combining flavours, spices and ingredients to make the perfect dish.  

A regular at the top food festivals around the world, including Taste of London and The BBC Good Food Show, Cyrus often appears on well-known televised cooking shows such as Saturday Kitchen and teamed up with Scottish Chef Tony Singh in the hit prime time series on BBC2, ‘The Incredible Spice Men’. He was awarded an MBE and an OBE for his contribution to education and the hospitality industry and cooked for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
