Hilton Bournemouth unveils cutting-edge meeting concept for South Coast

The grand opening of Hilton Bournemouth is now just weeks away and, in anticipation, the hotel has today unveiled its new and innovative meeting room concept, which will be premiered exclusively at Hilton Bournemouth.

Featuring eight unique meeting spaces for conferences and events, the hotel has collaborated with THAT Group, owners of the hotel, to create a series of themed rooms which each capture the pace, creativity and diversity of business.  From typewriters emerging out of the walls, to bowler hats hanging from the ceiling – things aren’t always what they seem at Hilton Bournemouth.

Cedric Horgnies, general manager, Hilton Bournemouth, said: “Bournemouth and the south coast have a thriving and competitive business identity, with the seaside town predicted to become a landmark of digital innovation and technology over the coming years. We wanted to match this business revolution in our hotel and offer a truly unique space to promote productivity and creation for guests.

“Every conference room has a bespoke design to compliment the purpose of meetings and events. If a business needs a space to scrutinise and evaluate figures and data, then our ‘Balance’ room is all about precision and detail. If, however, you need a space to fuel the creative juices then our ‘Not So Mad’ room is ideal. With pop-art, spectacles and umbrellas emerging from the walls and ceiling, the topsy-turvy room will surprise and inspire.”

Additional meeting room themes range from ‘Rule’ and ‘Balance’, to ‘Centrefold’, which all reflect the order and organisation required in business. Created as a homage to effective administration, the rooms will feature designs inspired by classic office equipment such as staplers, rulers and protractors – quite literally holding things together.

The ‘Not a Wind Up’ meeting room is all about the importance of time management. Featuring clocks, calendars and vintage signing in machines, this space is a reminder of how keeping your eye on the time is essential for running a business like clockwork.

Combined, these meeting spaces will offer a breath of fresh air to business in Bournemouth. Seven out of the eight meeting rooms also have access to a sweeping balcony, ideal for a break and moment to refresh with the panoramic views over the coastal town.
