The elegantly restored 18th century Chapel with barrel vaulted ornate ceiling and stained glass windows provided a stunning backdrop for the evening: accentuated with art deco panels, gold palm trees and reproduction antique statues from the era. Red and golden hues from uplighters created the underground speakeasy vibe with large martini feather filled glasses on tables completing the look.
On arrival guests enjoyed delectable canapés, Champagne and a bespoke bootleg cocktail whilst Ragtime rhythms and Broadway tunes played in the background. Dressed in 1920’s inspired clothing guests could add to their ensemble from the complimentary costume box which included feather boas, sequin headbands and hats.
A delicious three course dinner was served including smoked and poached salmon blini with sour cream and salmon caviar to start, pink-roasted lamb rump with chasseur sauce, asparagus tips, baby vegetables and potatoes au gratin for main and a profiterole tower on a biscuit base with chocolate sauce for dessert. Coffee and petit fours rounded off the meal. Each table was hosted by a member of the Beaumont team providing guests with the opportunity to gain insight into the four-star venue and the many possibilities for events.
Following dinner the DJ enticed guests onto the dance floor with classic disco and contemporary dance hits. Guests enjoyed an open bar and danced till 12.00am, departing to their bedrooms for the night.
