Le Meurice and Christofle pride themselves on almost two centuries of shared history, and the new partnership pays homage to this. In 1907, Le Meurice commissioned a limited edition tableware set, the Louis XVI service, from Christofle for the reopening of the hotel. This was engraved with the emblem of Le Meurice; the greyhound. The partnership was further developed in the 1970s, with the creation of the unique Spatours cutlery range.
The Belle Etoile Suite embodies Parisian luxury with unparalleled 360-degree panoramic views across the city. The 60 pieces of silverware capture the essence of French style and include an intricate photo frame, detailed candelabra, decorative metre-high falcon, dragonfly-etched vase and a delicate jewellery box. Christofle fragrances feature in the bedroom, with Miel d’Argent room essence and Lune d’Arget candles.
