The deluxe venue in Ragusa, south-east Italy, is one of only three resorts to have been shortlisted in both the ‘Most Prestigious Corporate Incentive Venue’ and ‘Most Prestigious Sporting Venue’ categories.
Organised by Prestigious Venues, the Prestigious Star Awards celebrate the quality, performance and reputation of the world’s best and most distinguished venues qualified to host the most memorable events.
Public voting is open until the end of July, with the 20 award winners set to be announced at a lavish prize-giving ceremony on September 18.
Announcing the nominations, Prestigious Venues said: “The luxury five-star Donnafugata Golf Resort & SPA promises an unforgettable experience in one of the most enchanting parts of Sicily. For both private and corporate events, the resort’s state-of-the-art design, sophisticated décor and prestigious style make the perfect venue for an array of events that are authentic, innovative and luxurious.”
