£200k investment further strengthens hotel following £3.5m refurbishmentThe Park Inn by Radisson Telford has unveiled its new look Meetings and Events facilities following a recent £200,000 upgrade.
As part of the work undertaken, all nine meeting rooms have been upgraded, complete with new carpets, curtains, lighting, doors, electrical and Audio Visual equipment. For those looking for some added inspiration, a new chalk board wall has been installed to assist with brain storming.
The stylish new look and feel of the rooms was created using muted tones of grey, blue and purple, creating a contemporary environment for meetings, events and social gatherings. LED spotlighting has also been used to enhance in-room ambience and create the right atmosphere regardless of time of day.
On a practical level and in support of the large number of devices today’s modern meeting delegate brings with them (typically laptop, IPad and phone), additional plug sockets have been added to all rooms. The Park Inn by Radisson’s brand-wide offer of Free WiFi for all guests and meeting delegates remains a key offering within the Meetings & Events area, as does Smart Meetings, a global Smart Meeting & Events hospitality concept, offering consistent Connection, Choice and Community to modern business get-togethers. Smart Meetings & Events are designed to deliver the right type of smart food, drinks, event spaces and technology to support varying guests’ life and work styles.
The new-look meetings and events facilities, the largest in Telford with a capacity of upto 475 guests, is now available for booking. From intimate meetings to large-scale conferences, and from weddings to car launches and everything in between; the space is a one-stop solution for all meetings and events planners.
The latest investment follows a £3.5 million project undertaken at the hotel and completes the transformation of this centrally located property. The earlier phase, a large-scale refurbishment, saw a complete overhaul of all 153 guest bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the hotel’s restaurant, bar, lobby, lounge area, public areas, health club and games room.
