CEO, Shane Harris, has committed the business to driving forward the often under-invested mid market, devising a strategy to reinvest cleverly in the Jupiter Hotels portfolio.
The strategy has seen refurbishments and redesigns across the portfolio; the development of new F&B offerings and partnerships, including the opening of Jupiter’s first Marco Pierre White branded restaurant, Marco’s New York Italian Leicester; and bold decisions to change the product offering to suit demand and audience, in more than one instance reducing MICE spaces in favour of bedrooms.
The transformation of the business and properties has been dramatic both in customer feedback and profit.

We have spent the last year investing in the design of our public areas and bedrooms in key properties such as our Mercure hotels in Newbury, Leicester and Edinburgh. Customer feedback on these refurbishments has been phenomenal and the business return has echoed this.”
