Shoreline Hotel to see “ship shape” refurbishment

Butlins continues to invest in their conference and events offering in 2015 with a £2.4 million facelift for one of their hotels at the resort in Bognor Regis. The Shoreline Hotel, awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014, embodied Butlins’ transition from traditional chalet accommodation to bespoke hotels nearly 10 years ago, and will now see a full internal refurbishment.

Embracing its seaside surroundings and cruise liner inspired exterior, the hotel will provide the perfect accommodation option for conference and events delegates looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

A new nautical theme will be rolled out across the hotel’s 160 bedrooms, including the launch of the prestigious Nelson’s State Rooms with panoramic sea views and breath-taking balconies, as well as brand new ‘walk-the-plank’ lifts and deck themed corridors embodying the sense of fun that the Butlins brand has become synonymous with. The renovated Shoreline is now available for conference and event bookings taking place from mid-February onwards, when the first 80 bedrooms will become available. The project, set to be completed by Easter, will provide delegates with a new and exciting accommodation option at the south coast resort.

Located adjacent to the Bognor Regis seafront and opposite the Shoreline Conference Centre, the hotel positioning will bring a taste of the sea-faring lifestyle into delegate accommodation, whilst offering convenient proximity to the available meeting spaces. Inside, extensive natural light is provided by the floor to ceiling glass doors and Juliet balconies. The newly appointed rooms will also feature custom-made furnishings, providing the perfect spot to relax, take in the view and breathe in the rejuvenating fresh sea air; the perfect elixir for boosting energy levels and clarity of mind*. The newly themed bedrooms will be decked out in extensive wood panelling to help build a captains stateroom style ambience, whilst the brand new Emperor mattresses will ensure a great nights sleep for a productive day ahead. Designed specifically for Butlins, the new hand tufted king and twin size mattresses will offer weary delegates four generous layers of filling, across 1,000 nested pockets to ensure maximum comfort at the end of a long conference.

This significant investment in the refurbishment of the Shoreline Hotel demonstrates Butlins Conference & Events dedication to providing the best experience possible for their delegates. Embodying the term, ‘corporate playground’, Butlins Conference & Events offer a refreshing alternative to traditional event locations, providing the perfect back drop for team-building, away days and conference and events of all sizes. With a range of flexible event spaces, ranging from 10 seat board rooms to exclusive hire of the entire resort, the Butlins team are able to ensure organisers bring out the best in their delegates.
