Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo pays homage to their British guests in celebration of their 10th anniversary

Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo
In celebration of this year’s 10th anniversary, Hotel Métropole pays homage to Monaco’s ever heightening relationship with Britain. Over the last ten years, British visitors to Monaco have increased by 20 per cent placing the British Market as the third Market for the Principality after France and Italy. In celebration of this, the hotel is offering a ‘UK Celebration’ package exclusively available to British guests from 1 October until 23 December 2014.

The ‘UK Celebration’ package is only available to British guests who reference ‘Celebrations UK’ when booking and includes:
• A Superior Room for two guests
• Daily breakfast
• Dinner for two at Restaurant Joël Robuchon or Yoshi
• A 25 minute SPA Treatment
• A bottle of Champagne upon arrival
• A selection of cakes to enjoy in the room

British travellers have long been drawn to the charms of Monaco from royalty to politicians to actors and authors including the likes of Queen Victoria and HRH Edouard VII, who gave the name of ‘Crepe Suzette’ during one of his stays, as well as other famous visitors including Anthony Burgess, Ian Fleming, Somerset Vaughan and Rudyard Kipling.

Not only is Monaco a favourite for affluent British holidaymakers but also for those looking to relocate more permanently to warmer climes. In the last ten years there has been a 40% increase in the number of Brits residing in Monaco; placing the British as one of the leading expat community in the Principality. Leading the way, Sir Winston Churchill called Monaco home for six months of the year and Peter Sellers was also a resident.

The ‘UK Celebration’ package is priced from 580 Euros per room per night from 1st of October until 23rd of December.
