New menu of unusual team building activities launchedQHotels is tapping into the increased interest for unusual and adventurous team-building activities within the conferencing sector, with the launch of its new menu of extreme experiences.
Delegates wanting to break out of the boardroom, can now choose from a menu of extreme conferencing experiences including extreme karaoke, art attack, extreme obstacle courses and dodge ball.
The hotel group launched the activity menu in response to the popularity of its innovative mudference package which launched last year.
Extreme adventure activities such as rock climbing, mud runs and obstacle courses have been gaining popularity over the past couple of years, as people strive to challenge themselves and break free from their increasingly routinised lifestyles. Not least in the conference market, as event planners opt for more diverse and memorable team building experiences.
QHotels Marketing Director, Claire Rowland said: “We know conference and event organisers are continually pushing the boundaries to make their conference or event as memorable and successful as possible.
“This new offering, provides organisers with the chance to do something truly unique and fun. Although we have created this extreme experiences menu of options, we can create tailored activities to suit each event – the menu is really a source of inspiration.
“Our events teams are very excited about the new range of fun and creative activities - they’ve even been sampling them out for themselves. The team is passionate about delivering great events and will go to any length to ensure it is a success.”
QHotels is no stranger to event success, last month, six of the groups’ hotels (The Oxford Belfry, Chesford Grange, The Stratford, Crewe Hall, Ashford International Hotel and The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort) retained the VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation, for the second consecutive quarter this year.
This success also follows the group receiving top honours earlier in the year, with the VenueVerdict’s Gold Standard Group award and No.1 Large Group award.
