The Scilly Swim is island-hopping with a twist. Rather than sailing between the islands, the athletes will instead swim between, and walk across, each of the six selected islands, sharing the waters with friendly seals, 18th-century skeleton wrecks and dozens of Bronze Age relics.
This exciting event promises to be an unforgettable challenge, in breathtakingly beautiful scenery, both above and below sea level.
Perfectly placed to host the post-swim party, Karma St. Martin’s, the island’s only hotel, opened this August and is poised to capitalise on breathtaking panoramic coastal vistas overlooking the deep azure waters of Tean Sound and Tresco. With well-appointed guestrooms and public areas facing the sea, the building is designed to appear as a charming hamlet of cottages. The beautifully landscaped sub-tropical gardens wrap around the property making them the hotel an idyllic haven for the Scilly Swim participants.
The swim will start and finish on St. Mary's, the main island, visiting St. Martins, Tresco, Bryher, Samson and St. Agnes.
