Aloft London Excel has all the tools to make tech-lovers ‘appy during London Technology Week!

In celebration of London Technology Week, Aloft London Excel is transforming its W XYZ bar into a hotspot for tech lovers. Directly connected to the ExCeL Exhibition Center, the host venue of Internet World 2014 and the Big Data Show, Aloft London has created three special tech-themed cocktails to entice visitors during Technology Week. The hotel’s W XYZ bar will also be debuting Chill & Charge furniture, a brand new technology which allows guests to wirelessly charge their phones and tablets without having to leave their seats (or drinks)!

Aloft London’s expert mixologists have created three cocktails to help guests unwind after a busy day at ExCeL. The Start-Up (Gin, Cucumber and Ginger Ale), The Cloud (Grapefruit Vodka, Cherry Brandy, Strawberry Syrup and Cranberry Juice) and The Entrepreneur (Vodka, Aperol and Grapefruit Juice) will be available throughout the week. From 5-7pm each day guests and visitors are also invited to ‘Appy Hour’. With 50% off the speciality cocktails and free wifi throughout the hotel, Appy Hour is the perfect opportunity for guests to mix and mingle with like-minded tech lovers and download from their day.

Aloft London has chosen London Technology Week to debut some cutting-edge technology of its own: Chill & Charge at Aloft. Created in partnership with Evoni Design, the tech-savvy Chill & Charge tables are embedded with wireless charging pads, allowing guests to charge their phones and stay connected without the need for carrying around cables or chargers or finding a plug socket. Aloft London Excel is the first hotel in the world to use this technology.

Aloft London will be serving The Start-Up, The Cloud and The Entrepreneur from the 16-20th June 2014. Appy Hour will take place daily between 5 and 7pm offering 50% off the three cocktails.
