Marriott County Hall goes mobile with new check-in app

No-one wants to waste time checking-in after a long journey. With the new Marriott app for smartphone, guests can check-in from wherever they are in the world and have their key card waiting for them when they arrive at the London Marriott County Hall. No more hanging around at the front desk!

Whether travelling for business or leisure, guests want to maximize their time in London. After downloading the Marriott Hotel’s app, travellers can simply confirm their details to check-in as soon as their room becomes available. Breezing through the lobby and straight up to the luxury room or into the largest hotel swimming pool in London, mobile check-in saves time and allows guests to make the most of their stay.

On departure, guests can simply leave their key card in their room and check-out with a few clicks from their smartphone. So whether they are heading for the airport or the next destination, hassle free mobile technology makes queues at reception a thing of the past.

Convenience is always at the heart of new developments at London Marriott County Hall and this new innovation was inspired by guest feedback. “So many of our guests have smartphones now that it made perfect sense to integrate the check-in process with something that they keep in their pockets,” commented Paul Cahill, VP of brand management at Marriott Hotels. “At Marriot we want guests to feel like they are part of the hotel and being able to check-in before arriving and then head straight to their rooms makes the hotel feel like a home away from home.”

The mobile check-in is easy to use as it is integrated with the popular Marriott Mobile app, which guest can download from the Apple itunes Store, Google Play and from the Marriott website. To check-in online, guests just need to register for Marriott Rewards, allowing travellers to earn points that they can spend on free nights, upgrades and exclusive experiences.
