New Celebrity Cruises’ selling guide helps agents transform fly-cruise bookings

Celebrity Cruises has introduced a dedicated selling guide that makes it even simpler for agents to customise Celebrity Cruises holidays booked via its revolutionary new booking system, AirWaves.

Packed with top tips for maximising the revenue potential of the new agent-friendly technology, the guide gives agents the tools they need to personalise fly-cruise and stay bookings in four stress-free steps.

With the modern luxury cruise line sailing all around the world, from Southampton to Sydney and Dublin to Abu Dhabi, the comprehensive guide highlights the potential to extend holidays pre- and post-cruise by up to 12 nights. To help agents open up their fly-cruise and hotel stay booking horizons, the new selling guide includes a selection of suggested flights, hotels and transfer options across nine different destinations around the world.

The selling guide also includes links to helpful online resources, from training videos and help guides to booking advice and online support.

Claire Stirrup, director of sales, Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland, explains:   “Agents have historically had to rely on multiple systems to pull together the perfect Celebrity Cruises fly-cruise and hotel stay packages for their clients, so AirWaves was created to make it easier – and faster - to personalise all aspects of the booking process.

“Our selling guide is designed to show how simple to use AirWaves is, and to highlight the complete flexibility that agents have in planning the ideal itinerary for their customers. We’ve saved agents yet more time with some recommended hotels. Dynamically packaging fly/cruise holidays has never been more innovative, or easy.”

The new AirWaves platform, which piloted in July 2017 and launches on 23 November 2017, allows agents to dynamically book fly-cruise and hotel stay packages with greater ease, flexibility and security. All of Celebrity Cruises’ schedules are pre-loaded onto the booking system to help agents find their customer’s ideal holiday, tailor it to their individual interests and provide clients with all of the pre-travel information they may need.

As part of AirWaves’ four-stage booking process, agents can find flights from across 30 regional UK and Ireland airports in real-time. They also have access to thousands of four and five-star hotels near ports and in departure cities, making it even more straight-forward to extend their customers’ holiday and make a fly-cruise holiday even more memorable.  The new selling guide showcases the level of flexibility on offer throughout the world.

Stirrup added:   “With all aspects of fly-cruise holidays made through AirWaves ABTA-bonded or ATOL-protected, we’re confident our selling guide will help take the stress out of booking what some agents had previously perceived as the most complicated side of cruising.”

The new Celebrity Cruises AirWaves’ selling guide will be with agents from the end of November 2017 and accessible to all agents from 23 November via Booking Tools on Cruising Power. Agents can sign up to dedicated AirWaves training at  cruisingpoweruk.co.uk/airwaves and enjoy additional support in using AirWaves at airwavessupport.online.
