London’s most inspiring new venue announces festive party packages

Christmas is coming to the Science Gallery at King’s College London
Christmas is coming, and Science Gallery at King’s College London announces a series of options for standing and seated festive packages along with exclusive enjoyment of its exhibitions.
The Christmas menus have been carefully created by talented chef patron Matt Weston and include only the best, fresh and vibrant local and seasonal produce.


While the venue may be state-of-the-art, Matt will not be abandoning Christmas traditions with his festive offer. 

Menus have been created for both standing and seated events and designed to be easily enjoyed. For standing receptions, the classic ‘pigs in blankets’ will be skewered with a cranberry chilli jam while lentil and celeriac is served falafel style with caramelised onion for easy nibbling.

The main event for seated guests will include a roast duck that is served ‘family style’ at the table, as sharing platters are passed around to encourage friendly interaction.   

Matt’s love for local market produce, together with his belief that the plate should contain different temperatures, tastes, and textures to heighten the experience, ensures Science Gallery Christmas party packages will be a sensational, seasonal encounter for any food lover.

“A Christmas party should be fun, can be silly and even a little twee, but there is never an excuse to compromise the cuisine” said chef patron Matt Weston of his menus for this first Christmas season.  

Sample standing reception packages include:
• Exclusive hire of Gallery 1 with access to the latest exhibition 19:00- 23:00
• Exhibition mediators to engage and educate guests
• Four hours of house wine, beer and soft drinks
• Selection of skewers and sliders
• Event management
Prices from £120 per person including VAT based on a minimum of 100 guests, maximum 320 guests.  

Sample seated dinner packages include:
• Exclusive hire of Gallery 1 with access to the latest exhibition during sparkling wine arrival reception 19:00- 23:00
• Exhibition mediators to engage and educate guests
• Exclusive hire of the ground floor space for dining
• Seasonal three course dinner plus tea, coffee and festive petit fours
• Half bottle of wine per guest
• Room décor and event management

Prices from £120 per person including VAT based on a minimum of 60 guests, maximum 120 guests.
