The Silver Sturgeon reveals 2017 Christmas party package

Christmas Cracker
Prestigious river venue, The Silver Sturgeon, has revealed Electric Dreams as its Christmas party package for 2017. This year’s theme offers guests an evening journeying along the spectacular setting of London’s festive riverscape, aboard one of the Thames’ finest vessels.

Embarking at Savoy Pier, guests will be welcomed on the enchanting river yacht by contemporary white light lanterns reflecting this year’s motto ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’. Once on deck, interiors will feature sculptural white winter branches, fir boughs dripping in white gloss baubles, white neon wreaths, soft faux fur throws and snow white table twinkling with candles.

With the stunning panoramic views of the Thames at night as the backdrop,  guests can opt for a Laurent-Perrier Champagne reception and the choice to feast upon a delicious three course menu created by Head Chef Douglas Gaunt, or dishes served from food stalls with circulating trays. The River Room dance floor offers the perfect finale with a choice of either live music or a handpicked DJ soundtrack to round off the evening’s entertainment.

Kate Woods, Creative Director at Woods Silver Fleet, said: “"We all love the festive season aboard the fleet and this year's Electric Dreams theming is going to look absolutely stunning. With contemporary neon mottos glowing amid winter foliage, beautiful views, exquisite menus and fantastic service, guests are guaranteed a great night aboard the Silver Sturgeon. This year has already been very busy for the team and crews so we are looking forward to ending the year on a high”.

The Silver Sturgeon is a 21st century yacht with breath-taking interiors and decks, created by leading designers and architects, featuring stylish light and relaxing spaces that can cater for 50 to 550 guests.

Festive cruises will be available throughout November and December from £125 per person + VAT.
