IACC crowns UK Copper Skillet winners

On Tuesday (4th June 2019), chefs from 15 UK IACC member properties gathered at The Woodlands Event Centre, Wyboston Lakes Resort to compete for the coveted UK Copper Skillet. The winners edged one step closer to the European Chapter Copper Skillet final taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on 05 October 2019 at the IACC Europe Knowledge Festival. Winners of this next heat will then go onto represent Europe in the global final in Dallas in April 2020.

UKHospitality Operations Managers Awards lands double success at Awards Awards 2019

UKHospitality, the single, authoritative voice for the hospitality sector, has taken home two awards at this year’s prestigious Awards Awards 2019.  
Recognised in two categories, UKHospitality’s long-standing Operations Managers Awards received gold for Best Judging Panel and Process and bronze for Best Awards Event by an Association.

PCMA announces 2019 Global Business Events Executive of the Year

PCMA presented its 2019 Global Business Events Executive of the Year award to Carola van der Hoeff, Chief Operating Officer and Congress Director at International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). The annual award was presented during the IMEX Gala Dinner in Frankfurt on May 22.

Slido secures gold at inaugural Internal Communications and Engagement Awards in London

Slido has secured the Gold Award for ‘Best Ongoing Commitment to Internal Communications’ at the inaugural Internal Communications and Engagement Awards 2019. The final result for the award, organised by Communicate magazine, was announced at a ceremony in London last week on Monday May 13th. Over 200 attendees, including agencies and in-house teams, joined the event at The Brewery in the City of London, hosted by comedian Zoe Lyons.
