WOW air solidifies success at World Airline Awards

Icelandic carrier named 7th best low-cost airline in Europe for second year

WOW air, Iceland’s only low-cost airline, has been named the 7th best low-cost airline in Europe for the second year running at the 2014 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
Announced at the Farnborough International Airshow on Tuesday 15 July, WOW air is the youngest airline in the top ten by almost a decade. Having been founded in November 2011, the airline operated its first flight to Paris on 31 May 2012.

Conrad Macao’s signature Chinese restaurant Dynasty 8 has been awarded ‘Two Wine Glasses’ at the 2014 China Wine List Awards.  Receiving Two Glasses means that the restaurant’s wine list is recognised as ‘Excellent’ based upon a number of criteria.

Oman Air wins Best Airline Staff Service Middle East at World Airline Awards

Omani national airline also achieves high placings in many other categories

The standard of service offered to passengers by Oman Air’s staff has received the highest praise the air transport industry has to offer, as it was announced that the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman has won the Best Airline Staff Service Middle East category of the World Airline Awards - SKYTRAX.

ANA awarded two accolades at the SKYTRAX World Airline Awards

All Nippon Airways (ANA) Group has been selected as the world’s best airline in two categories at the 2014 World Airline Awards run by SKYTRAX, the world's leading airline and airport review specialists.
The awards for “World’s Best Airport Services” and “Best Transpacific Airline” were presented to the Japanese airline at the 2014 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards, held at Farnborough International Airshow yesterday.
