Melbourne wins the title of World’s Most Liveable City for the fourth year in a row

Melbourne has again been named the best city in the world to live in for the fourth year running, topping the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) Global Liveability Index.
The EIU’s Liveability Ranking measures living conditions in 140 countries across five overarching criteria of stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.

Eve announced as headline sponsor of inaugural Festival Supplier Awards

Organisers of the Festival Supplier Awards have today announced that Eve, the UK’s biggest supplier of temporary access products, will be the headline sponsor for the first ever Awards this October.

The ‘Cocoon in the Clouds’ Mashpi Lodge wins “Leading Green Hotel in Ecuador for 2014” in the World Travel Awards

On Saturday evening, the Cloud Forests’ Mashpi Lodge fought off fierce competition from some of Ecuador’s top eco-hotels to be awarded the country’s “Leading Green Hotel for 2014” in the World Travel Awards. Celebrated at a VIP ceremony at the spectacular Itchimbía Cultural Center in Quito, the event was attended by South America’s most renowned hoteliers, travel gurus and industry experts.

Dormy House wins prestigious shooting venue award

As the grouse shooting season opens this week, Dormy House Hotel near Broadway has been named one of the top 12 shooting hotels in the UK. It was crowned Best Midlands Shoot Hotel in the 2014 Good Shoot Hotel Awards, organised by the website Guns on Pegs in conjunction with Field Magazine.
