The Ritz London named Best Hotel in Europe 2016 at the annual ULTRA awards

The Ritz London was last night named Best Hotel in Europe 2016 at the 10th annual ULTRAs - Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards - dinner in London, as voted for by the readers of The Daily Telegraph's Ultratravel magazine.
Upon receiving the prestigious award, The Ritz London’s General Manager Sal Gowili commented; “As a team we are extremely proud and honoured to have been awarded the highest of accolades by Ultratravel’s discerning and well-travelled readers. In the hotel’s 110th anniversary year, this award is recognition of our continued commitment to offering the very best levels of service to all of our guests”.

The Ritz was conceived by renowned hotelier César Ritz in 1906 and has become the byword for luxury and elegance, style and service. Today the hotel boasts 136 rooms and suites, as well as the acclaimed Ritz Restaurant, Palm Court serving Afternoon Tea, The Rivoli Bar and private dining rooms of the adjoining 18th century William Kent House.

Continuing to play host to Royalty, aristocracy and the stars of stage and screen throughout its distinguished history, The Ritz has deservedly taken its rightful place amongst the great hotels of the world.
