Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hosts Sales Excellence Awards 2015


Night of stars event honours partners across Asia for their contributions

Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hosted the annual Sales Excellence Awards gala dinner on Feb. 25 at The Venetian® Macao to recognise the outstanding contributions made by trade partners to the success of the integrated resort throughout 2015.

The annual award ceremony, which this year was given the title of the “Night of Stars,” plays an important part in the business philosophy of Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao by developing and nurturing business relationships with trade partners and rewarding them for their contributions. Over 150 guests representing around 100 companies, including trade and MICE partners, airline and media representatives were in attendance.  

A total of 13 sales and marketing awards were presented to trade partners in the leisure and  MICE industries in recognition of their efforts, with GZL International Travel Service Ltd. taking home four awards, and Juventude International Travel Ltd taking home the ‘Top Sales Performer of The Year – Other Region’ award for The Venetian Macao for the second time.  

The menu for the glamourous evening featured five signature dishes from the banquet team and four renowned restaurants at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao, including Dynasty 8 at Conrad Macao Cotai Central, Canton, the Golden Peacock and Portofino at The Venetian Macao. In addition, there was a range of unique entertainment during the dinner including the Streetsmosphere entertainers who thrilled guests by performing a range of Italian opera classics songs, a DreamWorks parade and a lucky draw.  

“We invited our valued trade partners to the gala event to show them how much we appreciate them and to say thank you in person for their tremendous contributions towards our business success throughout the year,” said Dave Horton, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp. and Sands China Ltd. “By recognizing their part in our success, we hope to encourage our trade partners to continue to promote Sands Resorts’ products in innovative and effective ways.”  

Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao fared well in 2015 and that is in part due to this important relationship. With an increasing number of international hotel and retail brands partnering with Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao in 2015, the company will keep strengthening long-term relationships and encouraging their continued support.  

Scheduled to open in the latter part of 2016, The Parisian Macao features an Eiffel Tower replica which is certain to become a landmark presence on the Cotai Strip. The Parisian Macao will also include over 2,900 luxury rooms and suites, world class meeting venues, luxury shopping and exquisite dining options.
