Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait awarded Green Globe certification for fourth rear in a row

For the fourth year in a row, Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait has received Green Globe certification, the international standard for sustainable operations and management designed specifically for the travel and tourism industry. Green Globe’s Middle East Partner FARNEK confirmed Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait’s certification with an audit of all hotel departments. The audit found that the hotel achieved 83% of all applicable criteria, which places the property in Green Globe’s high achiever category.

Green Globe provides internationally accredited certification, focusing on the preservation of environment and reduction in the use of energy and water and the consumption of natural resources. The certification awarded to Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait inspires guests to appreciate the property’s quality of service and healthy atmosphere, as well as the wide range of garden settings that they can enjoy during their stay.

As a part of its excellent commitment to nature conservation, Mövenpick Hotel Kuwait offers guests the unique opportunity of planting a tree bearing their name. The tree planting ceremony is repeated on each anniversary of the guest’s visit to the hotel.
