ME London celebrates the close of 2016 with six award wins

Luxury lifestyle hotel, ME London celebrates the close of 2016 with six award wins for the hotel and its Radio Rooftop Bar.
The award wins follow Guillaume Marly’s appointment as General Manager in February 2015. Guillaume’s career in hospitality started 20 years ago, with previous roles at some of London’s top hotels including The Ritz, The Dorchester and Claridge’s. One of his most notable achievements was the launch of Chiltern Firehouse in 2013, where he worked alongside André Balazs to manage one of the most well-known launches in Europe’s hospitality scene in the last 10 years. 

Since its opening in June 2013, ME London is still regarded as one of the capital’s top luxury lifestyle hotels. Guillaume’s influence and ambitions will continue to elevate the property’s position within the hospitality market.

Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards, took place at Park Hyatt Dubai on 15 November 2016. The GCC’s premier travel industry awards are voted for by readers of the magazine. ME by Meliá is set to expand into the Middle East in 2018 with the launch of ME Dubai, which has been designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.  

The Worldwide Hospitality Awards® took place on 14 November 2016 at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand. This international competition is an opportunity for hotels to highlight their teams’ exemplary achievements in communication, marketing, innovation, human resources, social and environmental responsibility and customer loyalty programmes.  

The Luxury Travel Awards, hosted at Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street on 7 November 2016, recognise and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the affluent travel and tourism industry.  

The European Hospitality Awards celebrates the very finest hotels throughout Europe across 12 prestigious categories. This year’s awards were presented at a ceremony held at the Grange City Hotel in London on 3 November 2016.  

The London Lifestyle Awards, the ultimate celebration of the businesses, people and places that make London the greatest city in the world, was held on 3 October 2016 at the London Lancaster Hotel. The awards showcase the best of London and celebrate the outstanding achievements throughout the lifestyle industry. Located on the 10th floor, ME London’s Radio Rooftop Bar offers panoramic views of the city’s skyline from Tower Bridge to the Houses of Parliament.
