The Maytime Inn, in Burford, landed the title after Expedia confirmed it had maintained a minimum guest review score of 4.7 out of 5.
The annual list represents a ranking of the world’s best reviewed hotels as determined by direct customer feedback on Expedia.com, with winning hotels identified by Expedia travellers as properties in top global destinations.
The 2015 class of Insiders’ Select hotels is based off of more than two million customer Verified Reviews, meaning Expedia confirmed the traveller’s booking on Expedia.com in order to review the property.
Dominic Wood, Owner at The Maytime Inn, is thrilled to receive the Expedia honour, and thinks the award provides great exposure for independent hotels.
