London Venue Awards 2017 winners announced

The Brewery was the focus for the much anticipated London Venue Awards, held on 20th October 2017.  
Acknowledging the very best in London’s event and live marketing venues, supplier and affiliate organisations, the London Venue Awards are acknowledged as a benchmark of quality and best practice. 


The winners underline London’s position as one of Europe’s most creative, skilled and forward thinking destinations for the live events sector.  Nineteen categories were awarded and recognise historic and unique venues, new openings and suppliers who help bring taste, colour and flair to many events.     

The winners are:

Best Historic Venue or Livery Hall - Alexandra Palace
Best Sporting Venue for Events - Lord’s Cricket Ground
Best Unusual or Unique Venue - Tanner Warehouse
Best Catering at a Venue - Tobacco Dock Food
Best Venue Customer Service – Under 500 (reception) - 30 Euston Square
Best Venue Customer Service – Over 500 (reception) - QEII Centre
Best Christmas Party Venue - Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe
Best Summer Party Venue - The Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens Hotel
Best London Rooftop or Venue with a View - Aviary
Best Wedding Venue - One Great George Street
Best London Event Venue – less than 500 attendees - Wellcome Collection
Best London Event Venue – 500 to 1,000 attendees - Troxy
Best London Event Venue – 1,000 plus attendees - Printworks London (Created by Venue Lab)
Best London Bar or Club - Seymour’s Parlour
Best London Meeting Room for up to 50 attendees - The Greenhouse at the Clubhouse
Best Venue Space in the City - Landing Forty Two  (Created by Venue Lab)
Most Versatile London Venue (1000 attendees or less) - RIBA
Most Versatile London Venue (over 1000 attendees) - Somerset House
