Global mobile and app award for

Travellers who prefer booking their flights and holidays via a handheld device are in good hands with CheapOair’s mobile website and mobile app after both were recognised with top ‘Gold’ accolades at the global MarCom Awards.

The CheapOair mobile app and mobile website were named as Gold winners in two categories – Mobile App of the Year and Mobile Website of the Year – in the prestigious honours. The MarCom Awards are organised by the Global Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and attract over 6,500 entries from 34 different countries.   

Both the CheapOair mobile website and award-winning app allow travellers access to great deals on over 100 million airfares, plus hotels and car hire. The free CheapOair app also boasts highly innovative functionality that enables travel bookers to choose add-ons such as check-in bags, premium seats, priority boarding and even to select their seats on some carriers.

Only one in five of all winners at the 2014 MarCom Awards achieved the high rating of Gold. The MarCom Awards are an international creative competition that recognise outstanding achievements by marketing and communications professionals.
