Firmdale Hotels win the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the 4th time

Firmdale Hotels is proud to announce they have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of their outstanding achievements in International Trade. This is the fourth time they have won – previously in 2000, 2006 and 2009.

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious accolade for business and is awarded for outstanding achievement in International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. Firmdale is the only hotel group to be awarded in the International Trade category.

Privately owned by husband and wife team, Tim and Kit Kemp, Firmdale Hotel’s has been operating since 1985 and comprises ten award winning luxury hotels in central London and New York.  Known for its unique style of design and attention to detail, Firmdale Hotels’ has been a major influence on the luxury hotel industry worldwide.  

Firmdale is innovative in its field and a pioneer of urban regeneration, injecting new life into neglected areas by acquiring dilapidated properties such as warehouses, hospitals and car parks, and creating internationally regarded and respected luxury hotels.
