Best Western Crown Hotel Boroughbridge makes final of major tourism awards

Best Western Crown Hotel Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire has made it through to the final of the White Rose Awards - the biggest tourism awards in the UK - in the Customer Service Award category.
The Best Western Crown Hotel is a 37 bedroomed former 16th Century coaching inn and includes conference suites for up to 120 delegates, restaurant, bar and a leisure club with heated indoor swimming pool and fitness suite.

Winners will be announced at the awards on November 17 at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.

Winners of each category will not only scoop one of these prestigious accolades, but they are also entered into the national tourism awards next year.

Emma Lee, hotel manager said: "This is a fantastic honour to be short listed and is a welcome boost to the morale of the team here at the Crown following one of our busiest summer periods for some years.”

Gary Verity, Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: "Given the high standard of this year’s entries, just making it to the shortlist is a huge achievement. This year, the bar has been raised yet again and they’ve had to contend with some real quality competition. It's always a close run thing, but there's every chance they could go on and win one of these prestigious awards."
