Amex Stadium in running for top awards

Amex Stadium
The events and catering team at one of the UK’s top sporting venues is in the running for a number of top awards.
Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, which manages the entire catering contract at the Amex Stadium, for Brighton & Hove Albion FC, has been shortlisted in six categories at The Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2017.

Independent and national hirers amongst the winners announced at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2017

The Hire Awards of Excellence were held within the newly refurbished Ballroom of the luxurious Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s prestigious Park Lane this Saturday 22nd April. Organised by Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA), the awards represent the best in the industry for plant, tool, hire and event equipment. Both national and independent companies and individuals were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the hire industry.

Principal Hotels picks up prestigious awards

Blythswood Scottish Hotel Awards
Two of Glasgow and Edinburgh’s top hotels have been recognised at this year’s Scottish Hotel Awards.  
In Edinburgh, the newly-refurbished Principal Edinburgh took the evening’s top prize – Scottish Hotel of the Year – as well as City Hotel of the Year.

Countess of York at the National Railway Museum wins prestigious Afternoon Tea of the Year accolade

Countess of York at the National Railway Museum has won the Afternoon Tea of the Year award at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, which celebrate the best in English tourism.  
The Countess of York beat off stiff competition from The Grand, Brighton and The Chester Grosvenor to secure the prestigious accolade at yesterday’s (24 April) ceremony at the Hilton Waldorf in London.

It's small wonder that the five-star Hotel Quinta da Marinha Resort, in Cascais, Lisbon, is such a popular venue for meetings, when you consider its sales director is such an expert in them.
The resort's João Pinto Coelho was recently recognised by Meeting & Incentive Forums for his outstanding contribution since their inception in 2006. At the recent 100th forum organised by Worldwide Events - a division of Big Worldwide - at Disneyland Paris, Pinto Coelho received the award for Outstanding Contribution, presented to the individual who has best embodied the spirit and values of the event during the last 11 years.
