Wembley size crowd throngs to skills event

WorldSkills UK LIVE
The biggest and best interactive national skills experience of all time – WorldSkills UK LIVE – drew to a close at the NEC, Birmingham on Saturday (November 17th).  
More than 85,000 people, virtually the capacity of Wembley Stadium, pre-registered for the three-day skills fest - an all-time record.

Twickenham prepares to unveil new East stand to the industry

East Stand
Twickenham Stadium is set to unveil its new East Stand redevelopment to more than 250 leading event industry figures. The launch, which will take place on Thursday 22nd November, will offer attendees the chance to explore all six floors of creative event space for the first time.

The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre raises the bar - architectural competition for fourth tower

Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre
The fourth tower at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre is moving closer to reality. A conceptual design competition has been launched to find the firm of architects that will help visualise Gothenburg’s new meetings hub.
In June, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Group received the go-ahead for their expansion plans, and they are now taking the next step. The project includes a new tower block and extension of the main entrance to the exhibition centre. The new building will also link directly to the new underground rail station at Korsvägen.
