The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards will be heading to Manchester for the very first time. The organiser, Stadium Experience, is delighted to announce that the 2019 Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards will be hosted at the Etihad Stadium, home of Premier League champions, Manchester City FC.

Construction set to begin on highly anticipated Las Vegas Convention Center expansion

This week, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) Board of Directors took the final step needed to begin construction on the Las Vegas Convention Center District’s Phase Two expansion by approving the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) agreement. The approval granted allows the highly anticipated economic development project to break ground.

QEII Centre’s economic contribution shows significant increase

The QEII Centre’s net economic contribution to the UK economy was £145million – a growth of 45% in just two years – according to its latest economic impact study. Its GVA to London alone was £110.9million.
Following the QEII’s most successful financial year to date and its inaugural report in 2016, the centre commissioned Grant Thornton to undertake an updated analysis, which reports it created £312million of gross UK expenditure in 2017/18 – a growth of 61% over the last five years.
