Arena Birmingham to be renamed Utilita Arena Birmingham in new powerful partnership

Arena Birmingham is set to be renamed Utilita Arena Birmingham as a part of major new partnership with Britain’s leading Smart Pay As You Go (PAYG) Energy provider, Utilita.
The iconic city centre venue will take up its new name on 15 April 2020.

Barbican achieves AIM Gold for third time

The Meetings Industry Association (mia) has again awarded AIM Gold accreditation to the Barbican in London.
It is the third time the international arts and conference centre, which is owned, funded and managed by the City of London Corporation, has received the mia’s highest ranking through the AIM accreditation scheme.

Lothian Leisure Development and NEC reveal group plans for major new Edinburgh Indoor Arena

Edinburgh Indoor Arena
Lothian Leisure Development Ltd (LLD), a UK based entertainment, leisure and sports venue consultancy, has today announced a partnership with Birmingham based NEC Group to deliver a new privately funded 8,000 capacity indoor arena for Scotland’s capital.   
A site for the arena has been secured at Straiton just outside Edinburgh city centre, with plans to transform the 30-acre site into a vibrant mixed-use leisure and entertainment destination.
