QEII Centre makes the shortlist for trio of prestigious awards

Central London’s leading large events venue, the QEII Centre, has been shortlisted for five categories across three business and marketing awards ceremonies, recognising excellence in delivering events, business success and exemplary customer service.

On 4 December QEII will find out if has been honoured at the Drum Experience Awards 2019 after being shortlisted in two categories: Venue Team of the Year and B2B Experience of the Year, for it’s ‘Bloom’-themed showcase event in February 2019

Known as the UK Event Awards until 2018, the Drum Experience Awards are designed to celebrate those who work behind the scenes in events and winning an award helps secure venues and event suppliers global amplification and profile.  

The Business Brilliance Awards take place on 5 December when QEII will find out if it is a winner in a further two award categories – Brilliance in Customer Service and Brand Brilliance (small to medium businesses with turnover under €20m).  

The QEII Centre is one of only three finalists in the Brand Brilliance category and one of five finalists in the Brilliance in Customer Service category. It is the only events venue to be listed as a finalist in any category of the awards.  

In March 2020, the finals of the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards will reveal the winners of 15 award categories, including the Customer Focus Award – Large Enterprise, of which the QEII Centre is one of 10 finalists.  

The Westminster venue has won multiple awards for work across all areas of the business since beginning a £16m capital investment and refurbishment programme in 2013. In October it won Gold for Best Event Venue over 1,000 Attendees and Bronze for Most Versatile London Venue at the London Venue Awards 2019. Chief executive of the QEII Centre Mark Taylor said: “We’re thrilled to make the shortlist for these three prestigious awards ceremonies which celebrate both the events industry and the wider business world. To be shortlisted for awards which honour business credentials and customer service, competing against leading businesses from all sectors across the UK, is a huge testament to the QEII Centre’s commercial success and its high level of service.”
