Messukeskus Helsinki chooses Planex Oy as its main partner to create premium customer experiences

Messukeskus Helsinki and Planex Oy will intensify their cooperation in order to deliver more effective customer experiences and encounters for the customers of Messukeskus. Planex’s content-creation expertise will complement the service package offered by Messukeskus and its subsidiaries to corporate customers and event organisers.

Planex specialises in brand experiences and has experience in concept design and content creation that will complement the extensive offering of Messukeskus and its subsidiaries. In future, customers can enjoy the comprehensive one-stop shop service of Messukeskus when creating their events, from an idea to a creative concept and from a visual production to a finished product.  

“A successful event calls for high-quality, versatile premises, technology, catering and service expertise. But it is the content that makes the experience unforgettable, and this is where Planex’s know-how comes in,” says Mika Vakkilainen, Service and Production Director at Messukeskus.  

“Together, we can be more effective in delivering experiences that will help our customers to succeed. Our cooperation will benefit both exhibiting companies and the organisers of general meetings, congresses, parties and other events.  

SVV, a subsidiary of Messukeskus, also provides high-quality AV services for international customers, and the cooperation is thus expected to open up new business opportunities to the parties outside of Messukeskus. The cooperation agreement will enter into force on 23 September 2016.  

Backed up by 26 years of international experience in marketing planning and production, Planex will serve as the creative production unit of Messukeskus.

Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre promotes Finnish trade and industry by enabling profitable face-to-face contact in trade shows, congresses and other events. Exhibitions and fairs are Finland’s seventh largest media. In terms of impact, they are the most profitable, the richest in experiences and the most social of all media. In 2015, Messukeskus organised 116 exhibitions and more than 1,500 meetings and congresses, which attracted 9,300 exhibitors and 1.3 million visitors.
