Langkawi International Convention Centre announces enriched offerings for customers

BLangkawi International Convention Centre (LICC) recently launched its enhanced half-day and full-day meeting packages, dinner packages and additional value-adds including complimentary return transfer pickup and other discounts, providing more benefits to its customers.

LICC’s clients can now enjoy a more affordable meeting experience, complete with lunch and themed tea break priced at RM160 nett and RM180 nett per person for its Half-Day and Full-Day Meeting Packages respectively. Both packages come with complimentary use of an LCD projector and screen, a flipchart and/or whiteboard and two microphones from a choice of wired, wireless, lapel or table microphones. Conference stationery, mints and bottled water are also provided throughout the meeting duration. A discounted rental charge is applicable for any additional meeting rooms required.

For clients looking to add a little zest in their meeting, they can also add dinner with; a choice of buffet or set menu, at a starting price of RM180 nett per person. “A variety of Asian and international cuisine is available; including Malay, Chinese, Indian, Western and Fusion, providing our customers with a delicious conclusion to their meetings,” said Tengku Ramizan, Director of LICC.

To add to the promotion, LICC are offering complimentary return transfer pickup for any confirmed clients whose guests are staying at hotels other than the neighbouring Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa (TWLRS). LICC delegates will also be able to enjoy 30% discount for any spa treatment and 20% discount for any beverages during events held at the facility. TWLRS guests will also receive 30% discount on their laundry charges.

Inspired by the Malay songket design to reflect the local heritage and culture, the 5,685 sq metre centre offers conferencing, meeting and banqueting facilities in a lush tropical rainforest setting, overlooking the island’s famed white sandy beaches and the Andaman Sea. LICC Grand Ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 persons at 1,660 sq metres, can be divided into three rooms, and there are seven additional meeting rooms ranging from 21 sq metres to 1,660 sq metres.
