It’s a formal affair at the Royal ICC

Brisbane’s most recent school leavers have been frocking up to celebrate their end of school achievements at the Royal International Convention Centre.
School valedictory season has hit the Royal ICC, which has proven to be a popular venue choice for a number of Brisbane High Schools this November. Brisbane Grammar School, Brisbane Girls Grammar and St Rita’s College recently held their valedictory dinners at the Royal ICC.

More than 2000 school leavers, teachers and families have attended these celebratory events at the Royal ICC, where guests enjoyed award-winning produce selected directly from the Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show (RQFWS).

Royal ICC General Manager – Venue Sales and Marketing, Jago Coyle, said he was thrilled the Royal ICC had been chosen to host such important events.

“Finishing school is a huge achievement and we are pleased so many Brisbane high schools chose to host these significant events at the Royal ICC”, Mr Coyle said.

“These events have been a real success and we have already locked in bookings for 2016 high school valedictory dinners.

“During spring it’s been non-stop events at the Royal and there will be no slowing down coming into the busy Christmas period.”

The Royal ICC is located 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD at the Brisbane Showgrounds, one of the city’s most prominent events precincts. Since opening in March, 2013 the Royal ICC has hosted more than 450 events.
