Wizz Air announces opening of new base in Krakow

2 new aircraft and 12 new routes in 2019
Wizz Air, Europe's fastest growing airline, has announced the opening of its 26th base in Krakow, Poland. The airline will base 2 Airbus A321 aircraft at Krakow airport in May and September 2019. Along with the establishment of the new base, Wizz Air will launch twelve new services to nine countries from Krakow, including routes to London Luton and Doncaster Sheffield, starting from April 2019.

Wizz Air launches London Luton to Kharkiv route

Wizz air
Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline group in Europe, today launches its first flight from London Luton to Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city.  
The new service connects UK passengers to one of Ukraine’s major cultural and scientific hubs.

Newcastle adds London City Airport route with Flybe

Flybe
The north east of England will gain a new double-daily direct air service to London City Airport from Newcastle with Flybe, which is available for booking now and effective for travel from Monday 7 January 2019.  
Eastern Airways, a franchise partner of Flybe, is to add a morning and evening peak service taking just 70-minutes flight time each-way direct into London City Airport, giving Newcastle Airport a second and faster, more convenient London travel option for those heading to the heart of the city.

Finnair invests in customer comfort with new Premium Economy cabin planned for long-haul flights

Finnish flag carrier Finnair is to introduce a new Premium Economy cabin for customers as part of a major investment in onboard improvements.
The investment package will also see all the cabins of the airline’s domestic and regional ATR turbo prop aircraft completely overhauled, with new seats, carpets and a refreshed interior.
