Smartphone & Co. to be permitted from gate to gate on Lufthansa flights

Use of electronic devices approved for more Lufthansa flights from 1 March The number of routes on which Lufthansa passengers can use their smartphones, tablets, notebooks and other electronic devices uninterrupted for their entire time on board is set to increase significantly.

Aer Lingus launches inaugural Boeing B757 service from Shannon to Boston

Aer Lingus launches inaugural Boeing B757 service from Shannon to Boston. Flight number EI 135 departed Shannon for Boston, marking the commencement of the airline’s major transatlantic expansion in 2014.
This expansion plan includes new routes from Dublin to San Francisco and Toronto, as well as frequency increases on services from Shannon to Boston and New York.
