The unit provides passengers with a wide range of services, including Left Baggage - Baggage Storage, as well as Bag Wrapping, and also offers a full selection of Luggage and Travel Goods from major manufacturers. The 'One-Stop Shop' also provides Domestic and International Baggage Delivery Services, Parcel Courier as well as coin-operated weigh scales. Additionally, the outlet operates under the ‘Airport Concierge’ brand offering Onward Travel, Hotel Reservations, Sim Cards, and tickets to Events and Attractions.

Excess Baggage Company has operated at Gatwick Airport since 1994 and Excess is pleased to celebrate it’s 21st year working with Gatwick, with the opening of this state-of-the-art new outlet.

Maire Elliott, Retail Director of Excess Baggage Airports Ltd, commented, 'with growing passenger numbers and the refurbishment of the Gatwick North concourses, it was important to deliver a world-class presentation, and I think that we have achieved this. Together with the new unit that opened on the Gatwick South Departures Concourse last December, and complemented by various Pop-Ups strategically located in areas including baggage reclaim and arrivals, we now provide a number of One-Stop Shop locations to satisfy a very wide range of passenger needs’.

Gatwick Airport's Retail Manager, Charlotte Christiansen said: 'We have enjoyed a very successful commercial relationship with Excess Baggage Company over many years, and we are pleased that we have been able to work together to offer so many services for our passengers in each location'.
