British Airways, Austrian Airlines and launch new Vienna routes

If you are looking for that perfect autumn getaway, look no further than the Austrian capital, Vienna. With three new international flight routes on the horizon from London, Manchester and Edinburgh with British Airways, Austrian Airlines and respectively, now is the perfect time to book that trip to Europe’s culture capital.

As of 10th September 2015, Austrian Airlines will fly from Manchester to Vienna on a daily basis. Austrian Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, will operate a Fokker aircraft on the Manchester-Vienna route.

British Airways will operate a new service from London Gatwick to Vienna, commencing 17th September 2015. The six times a week service will operate from Gatwick every day except Saturday until the start of the winter schedule in October. Hand baggage only, each-way fares on British Airways flights start from £49, including taxes and charges.  

Living in Scotland and looking for weekend city-break options in 2016? will be offering the first Scotland to Vienna route with a twice weekly service from Edinburgh to the Austrian capital, commencing 26th April 2016.
