Etihad flights from Edinburgh in June

Airbus A330-200 will operate daily to Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airways is to launch its first service from Scotland with a non-stop daily flight from Edinburgh to its home base of Abu Dhabi. The new route, taking off on 8th June 2015, will be operated with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft, offering a total of 22 seats in Business Class and 240 seats in Economy Class.

The daily flight will depart from Edinburgh at 0910 each day, landing in Abu Dhabi at 1940 local time. The return flight leaves Abu Dhabi at 0220 local time, arriving in Edinburgh at 0720.

In addition to providing a direct connection between Edinburgh and Abu Dhabi, the service will enable passengers from Scotland to connect conveniently to a network of more than 100 destinations worldwide. Edinburgh is Etihad Airways’ first Scottish destination and its third departure point from the UK. It currently offers triple-daily flights from London Heathrow and double-daily flights from Manchester. It also offers twice-daily flights from Dublin, Ireland.
