New with airberlin from Dusseldorf to Marrakesh and more frequently to Agadir

With the new non-stop flights from Dusseldorf to Marrakesh, airberlin is enhancing its tourist offer to Morocco during winter 2014/15 and as such is the only airline to offer non-stop flights from Dusseldorf to the ‘Red City’ at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.

The non-stop flights to Marrakesh, which will be operated with an Airbus A320, will be starting as of 3rd November 2014 twice a week every Monday and Friday. Connecting flights are available from Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Vienna and Zurich.

In addition, as of the 2014 winter season, airberlin will be offering an additional flight per week from Dusseldorf to the popular seaside resort of Agadir. NIKI, the Austrian subsidiary of the airberlin group, will also be starting new routes from Vienna to Agadir as of next winter. Thanks to feeder flights from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the connections to Morocco will be dovetailed into the airberlin group’s route network.

Marrakesh is known as the ‘Pearl of the South’. Jemaa el-Fnaa Square with its jugglers and snake charmers, the old town with its souks and the city gardens are some of the most significant sights in the provincial capital, also increasingly popular as a short break destination. Additionally, the port town of Agadir on the Atlantic is the perfect destination for a holiday by the sea due to its beautiful beaches and all-year-round mild climate.
