Three million pounds event wins kick start bumper year for Southport Conferences

Southport Conferences has announced a flurry of new event wins which will generate around 6,500 bed nights for local hotels and an estimated economic impact of around £3 million for the resort.
The events, which will largely take place at the resort’s flagship venue the Southport Theatre & Convention Centre, will see almost 3,000 additional people descend on the North West coastal resort over the next six years.

The new look retains the existing Grass Roots logo and company fonts, but takes inspiration from the ‘thought bubble’ icon. ABPCO’s March TechNOphobia workshop to focus on webinars and mobile applications

Registration has opened for the March TechNOphobia workshop organised by the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO).
The workshop, which takes place at The Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester, on Tuesday 25 March, will look at the benefits of webinars and mobile applications, two important aspects of technology which can have a major impact on events.
