CH&Co acquires 100% stake in Apostrophe

CH&Co - the privately owned corporate and commercial caterer - has announced today that it is taking 100% ownership of the high street café group Apostrophe, by buying the remaining 50% stake in the business held by Amir Chen and the founding shareholders with which it entered into joint venture in January 2012.

Hoteliers look to drive mobile web bookings with increased spend

Hoteliers are prioritising spend in mobile and social media in a bid to increase web traffic and bookings on-the-go, according to a survey by leading hotel market intelligence provider, TravelClick.
When asked which channels will see the most increase in spend, more than one in seven respondents (14.8 per cent) claimed that social media is at the top of their investment list, and one in 10 respondents (11.1 per cent) will ramp up their spend on mobile.

VisitEngland reveals winner of Tourism Superstar 2014

As English Tourism Week gets underway, it has been annnounced that the winner of VisitEngland's Tourism Superstar 2014 competition is Buzby Allen, from Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk.
Buzby came top in a public vote run by the national tourist board in partnership with the Daily Mirror designed to recognise the dedication and passion of those working in the tourism industry, and go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure visitors to England have a priceless experience.
